This project was developed for the Yuandao Research Institute, an international academic organization focused on publishing research journals and scholarly papers. The client wanted a modern, functional, and easy-to-manage website that could host multiple journals, research categories, and author submissions.

To achieve this, I designed and developed a custom WordPress-based website integrated with an academic publication workflow similar to Open Journal Systems (OJS). The website includes:

A custom-built research paper submission system for authors and editors.
Dynamic journal categories, archives, and publication listings.
User-friendly admin panel for managing papers, issues, and authors.
Fully responsive design optimized for mobile and desktop.

The main challenge was to balance academic complexity with usability — which I solved through a clean UI/UX layout and automated content management features.

This project was developed for an academic organization looking to modernize their research publishing workflow. The goal was to integrate the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform with a Laravel Filament-based dashboard to improve efficiency, user experience, and data management.

The main challenge was synchronizing OJS’s core data (submissions, users, and issues) with a Laravel backend in real-time while keeping the system stable and secure. I solved this by developing custom APIs and background sync processes to connect OJS and Laravel seamlessly.
